In November 2016, community members across the Nepean Blue Mountains district took to the streets through a Registry Week to meet every person sleeping rough in our community and get to know their health and housing needs.
Consultant Carolyn Quinn has evaluated the first stage of the Heading Home project, and will outline the key outcomes as well as the results from a well-being study of the people that we have housed from Registry Week. We will also announce our plans for a Garden Studios EXPO to promote investment in garden studios by private homeowners as we work towards local housing solutions to end homelessness.
