Achievement Awards Australians are encouraged

report was released showing that many Australians feel under time pressure.
Race Against Time, produced by the National Centre for Social and Economic
Modelling, ticked all the usual boxes, showing everyone running around
chasing their tails due to increased work hours and highlighting women's

psychotic illness: report About 64,000 Australians
have a psychotic illness and a survey being released today shows most are
unable to work full time, they suffer physical health problems and are prone
to loneliness. ABC AM, 23 November. Early intervention program pays
dividends The Brotherhood of St
Laurence has developed an early intervention education program. The charity
pays for tutors to help teach parents who in turn help their children escape

November. Parents to pay child support to
relatives The parents of children
who live with their grandparents or other family members will be compelled to
pay child support in the same way as divorced parents under a new state
government initiative. SMH, 24 November. Young people living in aged care Jock Watson suffered
serious injuries in a car accident when he was just 20. Ever since, the now
29-year-old has lived in a nursing home - his only option for
around-the-clock care. Jock is one of 6500 young people forced to live in an
aged-care facility. The Telegraph, 21 November. Rental yields to continue climb due
to low supply Rental markets across the
capital cities can be split into two broad categories - those where rents are
increasing and those where rents are flat. SMH, 20 November. Care Connect (Ongoing) Service to help At Risk of
Homelessness in Inner West Sydney. Care Connect’s Community Options Program (Housing Support) provides
short-term to medium-term support services to people who are at risk of being
homeless or being marginally housed. The Program has vacancies now. Please

beyond the pain of the Intervention The Stronger Futures Bills
introduced into Parliament indicates that the government has started to
listen to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, Social Justice

landlords have the right to increase the rent during a standard residential
contract. But one local mum saved herself thousands by saying 'no thanks' to

Government Betrays NT Communities With Second Intervention The Stop the Intervention
Collective Sydney (STICS) says that the Federal Government has betrayed NT
Aboriginal communities, following Monday's announcement of more punitive

point The lure of projects
interstate will magnify a crippling skills crisis in SA, an economic report
has found. Projects in Western Australia and Queensland are on timetables
